From a city program to a community effort

Our history

Connect Longview began in April 2019 as a program of the City of Longview Code Compliance Division, matching volunteer groups with homeowners who had property code violations they could not fix on their own. The program was revamped and expanded in 2025, and Connect Longview became an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2026. The City of Longview Code Compliance Division remains the program's operating partner: making referrals, setting workdays, and inspecting finished work for code compliance.

Mission

Connect Longview is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening Longview neighborhoods by connecting local volunteers with homeowners who need assistance with property repairs. Together, we restore livable homes, strengthen neighborhoods, and build a more connected Longview.
